Club History

Kinsmen was founded in 1968 on the campus of Abilene Christian University. Through the years, the club has seen its ups and downs including a recharter in 1988, which brought about the name Gamma Sigma Phi, but the values have always remained the same.

GSP is first and foremost a Christian Brotherhood. We are called to live together in unity above all things. We come from many places and are a diverse group of people with different goals and dreams, but we are a united Christian Brotherhood. We believe in one another, encourage one another, and pray with one another as a community of Christians.
